"Red Dead Redemption 2" Is Definitely Delayed Until October, But Here Are Some Sweet Screenshots

Should we all agree to just fast-forward to October already?

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been coming soon for the last two years and was finally slated to be released in March this year.

Unfortunately, Rockstar Games, the company behind the Grand Theft Auto series and the first Red Dead Redemption, announced that its release would be delayed for another six months.

"We apologise to everyone disappointed by this delay," Rockstar explained. "While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish."

People were still, most definitely, upset.

But hey, they softened the brunt a bit by sharing some aesthetically mint screenshots.

The first Red Dead Redemption, which came out eight years ago, was both a critical and commercial success. It followed the tale of John Marston, a former outlaw, who is forced to work with a law enforcement agency to take down his old gang of violent bandits.

It spawned the popular spin-off, Undead Nightmare, which saw Marston return to stop a zombie plague that had taken over the Wild West.

While we wait patiently for October, check out the latest trailer for a glimpse into the story.
