PSA: Big Macs Are $1 Today

When you woke up this morning, did you even realise how important this day would become?

It seemed like just any other Tuesday; ordinary, cold, so far from Friday.

And yet, Tuesday 25 June is now a day that will live in… not infamy, exactly, but the good version of infamy. Is 'famy' a thing? Well, even if it’s not, we’re calling it: Today is a day that will live in 'famy'.

That’s because McDonald’s is hocking their precious, new recipe Big Macs for just $1 all day.

Here’s what you need to know.

To get yours, you’ll need to make an order through the mymacca’s app.

Last month, Macca's announced they'll be cooking their meat patties a little bit differently from now on, searing them for exactly 40 seconds to ensure peak juiciness. They're also apparently cooking onions on the same grill as the meat as well, to add more flavour. Australia is the first nation in the world to trial these changes, and you’ll be able to taste them when you secure your $1 Big Mac.

Sadly, it’s a one Big Mac per customer situation. Maybe that’s for the best. If there was no limit on these $1 Big Macs, you’d probably be eating (literally) into your savings before you realised it.
