Police Puppers in Taiwan Melt Hearts After Falling Asleep on the Job

A K9 unit in Taiwan has just recruited six new furry additions to the force and their priority right now is just staying awake.

The recruits are Labrador Retriever pups and they have joined the puppy academy for their eventual transition into fully-fledged members of the K9 unit.

Of the six pups, there is one who stands out, literally and characteristically. He’s the one with the golden coat (the others all have black fur) and his name is Fushin.

Daily Mail spoke to Captain Pan Tian-long, who explained that Fushin is the cutest because he is the naughtiest.

“Sometimes, he would fall asleep while eating, and then he would wake up suddenly and carry on eating like nothing happened. How could people not love something as cute as that?” the captain told the Daily Mail.

You can watch a video of the puppies sleeping and drinking water below.
