PM Malcolm Turnbull Roasted Trump Pretty Hard, But the US Still Hasn’t Declared War

A video has been leaked from a journalist ball in Canberra showing Prime Minister Turnbull giving an adequate dissing of “The Donald”.

While the Canberra ball is supposed to be off-the-record with reporting, someone has leaked audio of Turnbull’s mockery to seasoned political journo Laurie Oakes. Oakes did not give a damn about this supposed cone of silence and released the audio below.

Turnbull has since stated that the comments were “light-hearted” and very Australian and is brushing it off as nothing tbh.

While Trump is yet to respond, there are a lot of worried Australians speculating on Twitter right now.

Spicer: "Mr President, Michael Turnip was recorded making fun of you."
Trump: "Can we invade?"
Spicer: "Troops on the ground already, sir."
