Nintendo Accidentally Leaked “Kirby Fighters 2” But Seem to Have Just Gone With It

Nintendo be like: "Haha, oh well."

Nintendo put their foot in it this morning when fans started noticing that they had accidently listed the new Kirby Fighters 2 game on their website before even announcing it.

Usually when games get leaked it’s not from the actual developers themselves, so this one was a first.

The game was immediately taken down by Nintendo, but not before people were able to take a screenshot and share the exciting news on Twitter.

What’s strange about this news is that Nintendo hadn’t yet made any announcement of the game, nor provided any information on it; that was until this morning’s leak.

Since their blunder, it seems like Nintendo are just going with the attention and have officially announced and launched the game along with all its fun details. (Makes you wonder if it really was a blunder at all...)

Kirby Fighters 2 joins players in a battle royale setting between Kirby and some familiar friends and enemies, including King Dedede, Meta Knight, Bandana Wadlle Dee, Gooey and Magolor.

As Kirby you will gain access to 17 of his abilities including the new Wrestler type, as well of each other playable characters talents, play style and set of moves.

Players also get the choice between battle mode and story mode, fighting alongside a CPU or with a friend to help you climb up the Tower of Trial to reach the final battle. Up to four friends can also join you locally or online.

Originally a side game in Super Smash Bros, and then a standalone game due to its popularity, Kirby has made its mark, so fans are excited to say the least for Fighters 2.
