Nine More Sydney Schools Investigated By Police Following New Threats

Police are investigating nine Sydney schools following threats made against the institutions, The Daily Telegraph reports.

A number of the schools went into lockdown, while others were totally evacuated.

Police operations concluded at 4pm EST, with a spokesperson telling SMH the threats were "very low level" and that there was "nothing at all" to suggest the threats were linked to terrorism.

Police operations have concluded at a number of schools across Sydney.Investigations are continuing.

The affected schools included Hunters Hill High, Sydney Girls High School, Randwick Girls High, Mosman High, Riverside Girls High, James Ruse Agricultural High, Cheltenham Girls High School, South Sydney High School and Caringbah High School.

Similar investigations took place on Friday when threats were made against seven NSW and VIC schools. It was later concluded that the threats had been a hoax.
