Kick your feet up while assisting the medical world.
This article is presented in partnership with Nucleus Network.
Does it feel like every second person on your Instagram has been enjoying their hot Euro summer lately? Wish you were there too?
Well it’s not quite Europe, but what if we let you in on a little secret about a getaway that you can take that won’t cost you a cent? In fact, they’ll pay you to take it.
You read that right—welcome to the world of paid medical research with Nucleus Network.
The clinical trial organisation pays eligible participants up to $600 a day to kick back for at least two nights (or sometimes up to multiple weeks) while they help to advance medicine and improve lives.
It’s a win-win really, because Nucleus Network need people so they can conduct complex early phase clinical trials with their world-class medical team, and you get paid to assist with research while also getting time out for yourself.
The best way to describe it is like being in a comfy hostel with a bunch of doctors and nurses taking care of you.
Oh, and there’s free food (we’re talking meals and delish snacks from a pro catering company), unlimited Wi-Fi, and even a rec room where you can play pool and meet new friends.
Of course, you’re also benefiting the medical world by contributing to trials so you’re making a positive impact too.
Keen to know more? Here's all the nitty gritty details.
Like what kind of medical studies are we talking about? How much relaxing will I really get to do?
Nucleus Network recruits a wide range of participants so if you’re over 18, you could be considered for one of their many studies. You can register online here first to give them a few details to make sure you’re eligible for current and future studies.
If you’re selected, you’ll usually spend around 10% of your time doing trial procedures, and then you’ve got 90% of your time to do whatever you want!
Take along a book (or four), catch up on exam study, scroll aimlessly on TikTok, and sit back and relax.
Once you’re done and complete any follow-up appointments that might be required, you’ll get the money in your bank account.

Depending on what study you take part in, it could be up to $600 a day and, even if you attend a screening visit but aren’t eligible due to a medical result, you’ll get a reimbursement of up to $400.
