Metal Band Witchrot Announces Break-Up In Most Metal Way Imaginable

Axl Rose once crooned, "nothing lasts forever," and that is especially true in the case of Witchrot.
The Toronto metal band announced their dissolution on Facebook this week, in the most metal way possible.
"Due to the unfortunate reality of our guitarist f***ing my girlfriend of almost 7 years WITCHROT will be taking an extended hiatus," the message from member Peter Turik reads.
"I however will continue the band in another space and time, being ripe with hate the music is slowly flowing and without a doubt will become the most devastating, torturous music I have ever created."
"Also our drummer died," it concludes, ominously. (Don’t worry, it’s probably just a reference to This Is Spinal Tap. We hope.)
Language warning ahead, obviously.

The post was accompanied by an image of a shattered guitar. And fair enough!
Anyhoo you can still get Witchrot’s last EP on Bandcamp, but, we gotta say, we’re kinda more interested in that next release.
