Mad Max And Imperator Furiosa's Stunt Doubles Got Married

Love is weird. Mad even.
Here’s perhaps the only story from the world of Mad Max that might make you go, “aww.”
The stuntpeople who played Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron’s stand-ins during the production of Mad Max: Fury Road are now married with a 14-month-old son, The Telegraph reports.
Native New Zealanders Dane and Dayna Grant met on the set of the George Miller action spectacular, which was filmed in the Namibian desert during 2012.
"I remember that first day meeting her in the stunt rehearsal gym. She stood out for all the right reasons," Dane told The Telegraph.
In the early days of the shoot, Dane acted as Tom Hardy’s rehearsal double opposite Dayna (née Porter), stuntwoman for Charlize Theron.
That means the two of them fell in love while rehearsing brawls between Max and Imperator Furiosa.
Eventually another Kiwi – Jacob Tomuri - was brought on to play Max, but by then, Cupid’s arrow (presumably flaming) had struck.
Here’s hoping they had this guy play at the wedding reception.
