PM Turnbull Sent Off His "Yes" Vote, But People Are Still Peeved Off At Him

Malcolm Turnbull posted off his "Yes" vote, but SSM supporters are still mad at him for approving the postal vote in the first place.
Over the weekend, PM Turnbull posted to Twitter to show his support for the "Yes" campaign along with his wife and former Lord Mayor of Sydney, Lucy Turnbull.
Lucy adds that "it's time to get this done" as if her husband wasn't the Prime Minister of Australia as well as the leader of the Liberal Party.
But while the gesture was positive, it didn't stop countless people from voicing their frustration at his apparent inability to push the vote to parliament instead of having a $122 million postal vote, which has since gotten quite ugly.

The frustration comes from the fact that Turnbull has been a long-time supporter of legalising same-sex marriage and things were looking hopeful for the marriage equality campaign when he took over the reins from the far more conservative Tony Abbott.
But since becoming Prime Minister, Turnbull has had to sacrifice a lot of his beliefs in order to maintain control over the Liberal Party factions.
Turnbull has since explained that a 'no' result in the survey would mean that the Liberal Party will not vote on another same-sex marriage bill for years while they're in power.
"Absolutely, it's very straightforward, if there is a 'yes' vote, then we'll facilitate a private member's bill to legalise same-sex marriage, and if there's a 'no' vote, we won't, that's it, very straightforward," he said in press statement.
If that happens then, bye.
