The Cars From “Mad Max: Fury Road” Are Up for Auction

Why not make your first car a war rig?
Sure, you could do what most people do and make your first car a Toyota Corolla or something standard, or you could stand out from the crowd and buy one of the freakin’ cars from Mad Max: Fury Road!
That’s right, later this month, 13 vehicles from Mad Max: Fury Road is going to be up for auction from Lloyd’s Auctioneers and Valuers, and this is the perfect opportunity to get yourself a wild piece of cinematic history.

You may or may not remember these bad boys, considering the OG films came out donkey's years ago and they're all adult rated.
“These vehicles are survivors of the apocalypse,” the auction page says.
“Blow, super-charged and armed to the teeth with weaponry and War Boys, the machines that outran the end of civilisation have been unearthed in the greatest barn-find ever recorded.
“Nitrous, noxious and no-nonsense harbingers of hell, marking man’s uncanny ability to bring beauty even from that designed for death and destruction.”
Whoever is writing Lloyd’s Auctioneers and Valuers’ descriptions needs a raise ‘cos they’re on point.
Of the 13 cars up for auction, there are two have caught our eye. First up is Max Rockatanksy’s car Razor Cola aka The Interceptor Reborn from the opening scene of the movie.
If you’re wanting an iconic car then this 1973 XB Falcon Coupe is the one to get and it comes with a wicked backstory too.
“The XB Interceptor has been resurrected in the crucible of the Citadel," according to Lloyd's.
"Jacked up on off-road rails and supersized wheels, double-aspirated V8 blower (complete with a skull on top), jockeying hundreds of horsepower and a handful of hate down mankind’s final straight.”

If the Interceptor isn’t quite your tempo, then we have something that might satisfy your craving to be noticed wherever you drive.
Remember that huge truck with the wall of speakers, and a dude shredding on the guitar, that was also a flamethrower from the chase scene in the film? Yeah, you can also buy that bad boy.
It’s called the Doof Wagon and it’s a man missile carrier truck that’s been transformed into the mobile war drums of Imortan Joe and his War Boys.
We dunno if it’s road legal but that’s some red tape for future you to solve.
There’s no word yet on what price these monster machines are gonna sell for, but we reckon a cheeky offer on auction day at the very least would make a cool story.
