Mai has studied overseas for most of her life.

Mai was born in Vietnam and lived there for 14 years before deciding to take the leap and study overseas. In Year 8, she started studying in Singapore where she completed her high school certification.

Her uni life began here in Perth, Australia, and is about to finish her final year of her marketing degree.

But what is it like to be studying in different countries, and living so far away from home?

We sat down to chat with Mai about how she overcame the challenges that come with studying abroad, and settling into completely new environments and cultures.
