Lee Lin Chin Is Making Some Moves to Become Australia's Next PM

Nothing but respect for our true Prime Minister.

She's already the queen of fashion and Twitter in Australia, but Lee Lin Chin has a new frontier she wants to claim: Australia's top job.

The former SBS presenter and daring fashionista has been taking to Twitter (or at least, the mastermind behind her online persona has) to let everyone who will hear it know she's ready to become Australia's "Prime Chinister".

With former PM Malcolm Turnbull likely to quit Parliament in the coming days, his seat in Wentworth will undergo a by-election and Lee Lin Chin is putting up her hand. After that, she wants the top role.

I shan’t be putting myself forward in #LibSpill. Whilst the role of Prime Chinister is appealing, I am at heart a Marxist. Think I’ll need to take over a different party.

But to make this a reality, she'll have to first enter Parliament with a major party and then take on the leader of said major party. She reckons she's got this and the Greens have already made an offer.

If you're wondering whether a Singaporean-born Australian might have some trouble with the Great Citizenship Saga of Parliament, she's already taken steps to renounce her citizenship so there's no chance Section 44 could take her down.
