Kylie Jenner Announced Her Baby's Name and Everyone's Having a Laugh

Kylie Jenner has fooled us all and went with the unexpected.

In case you haven't heard (impossible), the younger half-sister of the Kardashians, Kylie Jenner, has given birth to a little girl after concealing her pregnancy from the public for the last nine months.

To keep the spotlight and fandom abuzz, she (or her publicity queen and mother, Kris) kept everyone guessing what she would call the child. Fans wildly speculated and theorised what she would call the baby human and, giving her family's penchant for bizarre names, the possibilities were endless.

In fact, most of Twitter seemed pretty convinced that she would be called Mariposa, or Posie for short, which means butterfly in Spanish.

Instead, she opted for something a bit more... in season.

Understandably, a lot of fans were a little shocked at the strangeness of the name. In the United States, there are apparently fewer than 2,000 people with the name "Stormi" so it's certainly unique.

Still, there is no shortage of comedians out there poking a few light jabs at the surprise name.

Some, quite rightly, pointed out that Kylie may have missed the news cycle after it was revealed that an adult performer, Stormy Daniels, had an alleged affair with Donald Trump before he became President.

But just remember, it doesn't really matter what your name is when you're going to be stinking rich for the remainder of your life.
