“Knives Out” Fans Are Coming Up With Some Hilarious Sequel Titles

It's cutting edge stuff.
Last week, we received the glorious news that a Knives Out sequel was officially in the works. As reported by Variety, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer and Motion Picture Group Chairman Joe Drake confirmed that the studio is planning production for the sequel.
It's no surprise really, considering the movie was such a hit. We even gave it an Honourable Mention in our Best Movies of 2019 countdown. Plus, Feltheimer noted that the film will soon smash $US300 million at the worldwide box office.

Helmed by Rian Johnson (The Last Jedi), Knives Out follows Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) as he investigates the death of renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer). It is genuinely difficult to say any more than that, because we don't want to spoil anything for those of you who haven't seen it. (You know what you're doing this weekend.)
Despite the announcement, there's been no word as to the sequel's title, or what the plot will be this time around.
Perhaps that's why the Knives Out Twitter page is calling for suggestions.
It is safe to say creative minds have truly flourished, with so many responses that "Knives Out 2" is trending in the United States.
Here are some we could totally get around.

The suggestions seem to have distracted Johnson, who tweeted that he hasn't been able to get any actual work done.

On the Oscars red carpet, the director revealed he's already in the process of writing the sequel. He told Entertainment Weekly that it's likely Daniel Craig will stay on as the detective, but there'll be an entirely new cast, case and location.
