Denied: Kardashian Sisters Shut Down Blac Chyna’s Name Change

Angela Renée White, more commonly known as Blac Chyna, has been denied the chance to gain the koveted Kardashian last name after the Kardashian sisters’ lawyers shut it down.

Chyna, who has been in an on-and-off relationship with her Kardashian baby-daddy, Rob, filed to trademark the name Angela Renée Kardashian last year despite the engagement being called off.

The Kardashian sisters opposed the request in December citing that if Chyna was to take their name, they would “suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill.”

TMZ says their request was successful.

Chyna’s lawyer, Walter Mosley, explained to PEOPLE that this was the first time a trademark for Chyna has been opposed.

Chyna will now be unable to profit off House Kardashian, even if she gets to legally change her name after marrying Rob (should that ever happen).
