Justice for Gingers: Redhead Emojis Have Now Been Released

The day of the redhead emoji is upon us.
It's been a long time coming for our fellow fire-haired friends, but Unicode, the people behind the emojis we use so often, is finally releasing redheaded emojis with a range of skin tones.
After first being announced in February of this year, Unicode promised to bring justice for our ranga mates by releasing the emojis along with 157 other characters.

Unfortunately, they can only be used on Twitter at the moment with Apple, Google and Microsoft devices expected to support the new emojis before the end of the year.
However, that didn't stop the army of angry gingers from airing their disappointment that the emojis are not instantly useable.
Aside from the fiery addition, Unicode has added a range of other characters such as kangaroos, llamas, cupcakes, toilet paper (god knows we need this one) and a sweaty face.
Check out the rest of them below.
