It's Getting Hot In Herre, No Seriously, 2015 Is Set To Be The Hottest Year In Recorded History

Make room for us on Mars, Matt Damon. Last month was the warmest September in recorded history.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration shared the news – which is absolutely of the “should we be terrified?” variety – noting that September 2015 also broke the record for the biggest jump in a month's expected temperature since data collection began in 1880.
What this means is that the global temperature is beginning to increase, month by month, to levels that go beyond current data predictions.
It’s become increasingly likely that 2015 will go on record as the spiciest year in recorded history too.

So, you know, cut it out with the aerosol sprays.
One of the most powerful El Niño events on record also contributed to the spike.
"Out of 1,629 monthly records since 1880, six months of 2015 are among the 10 highest monthly temperature departures from their respective averages," NOAA stated in its most recent climate summary.
Will October crack the top 10 too? Can Demi Lovato save us with her cooling rhythms? More news as it develops.
