It Actually Happened: The Avalanches Release New Song "Frankie Sinatra" Featuring Danny Brown

And all we had to do was wait 16 years for it!

After months - okay, decades - of rumblings that new music from Aussie producers The Avalanches was just around the corner, we finally have their first song since 2000's iconic record Since I Left You.

Titled "Frankie Sinatra", it features Danny Brown and samples "My Favourite Things" towards the end. Classic Avalanches.

We're assuming, by the way, that this is the collaboration Brown once said would "change the world". Prepare yourselves accordingly.

(Mild language warning.)

After dropping the new single, The Avalanches took to Twitter to confirm their-long awaited second LP, Wildflower, was actually a thing.

Speaking with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, they revealed Wildflower will contain 21 tracks. An actual, official, no-takesies-backsies release date, however, remains elusive.

Still... we're so close! Can you feel it?
