Calling All Gluten Intolerants – Three Iconic Arnott’s Biscuits Just Went Gluten Free

What better way to celebrate International Coeliac Disease Awareness Day? 😍

According to The Medical Journal of Australia, 25 per cent of y'all restrict gluten or wheat from your diet.

On this International Coeliac Disease Awareness Day, Arnott’s have listened to the people and expanded their Gluten Free biscuit range—so you’ve got more than ‘Scotch Fingers, Tiny Teddies and Choc Ripples to nom on!

Now you can munch down three additional flavours: ‘Mint Slice’, ‘Shortbread Cream’ and ‘TeeVee Snacks Original’. On the tiered ranking of Arnott’s Biscuits, those are pretty damn up there.

Arnott’s Group nutritionist, Alison Baldwin, recognises gluten free peeps have got it hard.

“…As many as two thirds (of these people) believe that the existing Gluten Free snacks don’t taste nearly as good as regular snacks, according to a study undertaken inhouse,” she says.

Arnott’s have perfected the recipe, using a Gluten Free flour blend made in Australia with maize, tapioca, rice, sorghum, and soy.

And rest assured that smooth, buttery Shortbread Cream filling and Mint Slice gooeyness will get your lips happily smacking.

The packets are going for $5.30 each and can be found in Woolworths and independent stores from today, and Coles from 13 June.
