How Did I Get Here? With Brooke Dunnell, Fogarty Literary Award Winner

How did Brooke Dunnell get here?

This podcast is presented in partnership with Fremantle Press.

For as long as she can remember, Brooke Dunnell has been a writer.

From her first creation of a picture book at six years old, to now an award-winning writer, she's gone on to achieve her childhood dreams.

In 2021, Brooke was awarded the Fogarty Literary Award for her manuscript, The Glass House.

This week, Brooke joins us on How Did I Get Here? where we chat everything from her young life, her early experiences as a writer, and what's next for her.

This year, Brooke will sit as a judge for the 2023 Fogarty Literary Award.

The award is open to aspiring writers aged 18 to 35 with an unpublished manuscript - the award is an incredible way to kickstart your writing career, and the winning manuscript will receive a publishing contract with Fremantle Press and a $20,000 prize.
