Hillary Clinton's Emails Under Investigation By The FBI Again

The FBI have, rather unexpectedly, launched another investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state.

The American Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is looking into newly discovered emails tied to Hillary Clinton, relaunching queries into the private email saga.

All of this is happening with just eight days to go until election day, yikes...

What exactly are they investigating?

FBI agents have seized a computer in relation to their investigation into former Democrat congressman Anthony Weiner, who is alleged to have exchanged explicit messages with a 15-year-old girl.

They have obtained a warrant to search all 650,000 emails on the computer, thousands of which may be tied to Clinton.

Clinton's campaign team has responded to the investigation, prompting questions about the vagueness of the operation.

Up until this point, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton has been soaring ahead of Republican Donald Trump in election polls. However, according to The Guardian, the surprise intervention by the FBI may be enough to rock the boat.

Donald Trump has called the matter "the biggest scandal since Watergate" and suggested that the case against Clinton was now "so overwhelming."

He also thinks that momentum for a Trump presidency was on the incline, regardless of the FBI announcement.

Given many pollsters have called the election an "unpopularity contest," it won't take a great deal to swing the mood of voters. The recent week has been quiet on the Trump side—with no breaking scandals—meanwhile, Clinton has been facing the heat.

The newly revived investigation into Clinton has halved her average lead in the polls since the last presidential debate.

Political consultant Frank Luntz said: "When the attention was on Trump, Clinton was wining. Now, the attention is on Clinton."
