“Heartbreak High” Will Return for a Third and Final Season

Don’t cry because it’s over, cry because it happened.

If you haven't gotten over what happened at the end of Heartbreak High season 2 yet, you’re in luck.

Netflix have revealed that our fave Aussie high schoolers will return for a third and final term/season.

We left the gang at the end of season 2 with their school on literal fire. So, it’ll be interesting to see where they all end up.

What about Amerie and Malakai?

We see Malakai leave Amerie a letter before getting on a plane for Switzerland, and Amerie come to the realisation that she still loves Malakai.

But before she can read the letter, it burns down in the fire caused by Mr. Voss and his band of students.

Will he return to Hartley High? Will he profess his love? Will this couple be endgame? Hopefully our answers will be answered in season three.

What to expect from the final season.

 

According to Netflix Australia, season three will see the cast and crew reconvene one more time in Sydney for filming.

Netflix Director of Content ANZ, Que Minh Luu said, “she never got the letter – but now we get to see what happens next!” 

“Renewing Heartbreak High for its final season is a major point of pride for us at Netflix.

“It has been a joy to work with the utterly cooked creative minds behind our favourite Aussie YA show and to bring our stories, our culture and our in-jokes to all the fans here at home and throughout the world.

Apart from Amerie and Malakai’s turbulent love story, there are still a heap of questions unanswered.

Will Harper finally get her happy ending? Will Ca$h and Darren work through their differences? Will Spencer finally be the good guy? And will Quinni and Sasha rule the school?
