Headspace Just Dropped a Netflix Show to Help Improve Your Sleep, So Goodnight

*Do Not Disturb.*

We all know how important sleep is. It’s obvious that you need it to function properly in class, maintain a good mood, and some research even suggests that not getting enough sleep can have negative impacts on other parts of your health.

Honestly, these facts kinda suck. With the stress that comes with school or work, and the distractions resulting from phones and TV, it can be really difficult getting enough sleep every night.

Thankfully, Headspace and Netflix have officially come to our rescue by launching a new TV series designed to help you fix your sleep.

There’s a high chance you’ve probably heard of Headspace before. They’ve got some calming af ads on YouTube, plus at least one of your mates have probably used their super relaxing app before and bragged about the totally zen benefits.

If you’re a stressy person but could never justify the cost of the Headspace subscription, now’s your chance to lap up the benefits for free!

The new show, called Headspace Guide to Sleep, arrived on Netflix on Wednesday. It features seven 20-minute episodes that will teach you how to get better z’s. Even better: the end of each episode has a guided wind-down so you can watch it right before bed.

The new series joins Headspace’s previous show Headspace Guide To Meditation that arrived on Netflix back in Jan, which you can catch me also binge-watching this week.

Breaking down misconceptions about sleep and how much you actually need, the new series also touches on screen time, how dreams work, stress, insomnia and even the use of medication like sleeping pills.

While watching telly right before bed is kind of ill-advised, this is probably an exception to the rule.

Fingers crossed this new series can give us some super helpful top tips on how to sleep healthier and lower our stress levels, ‘cos let’s be honest, they are way too high.

You can catch the new series on Netflix now.
