Here Be Dragons In The Hardest Logic Puzzle Ever

Last week, a Singaporean logic puzzle intended for children rendered the entire Internet dumbstruck.
Though many of us struggled to figure out when precisely Cheryl’s birthday was (and why she was being so cagey about it), at least we gave our brain muscles a good flexing.
Are they now flexed enough to take on this mind-melter?
We dug into the archives to find what has been dubbed “The Hardest Logic Puzzle In The World,” and no, this one wasn't written for primary schoolers. Robbie Gonzelez at io9 first saw this handed out to physics students at Harvard.
Read the puzzle below and see if you can guess the correct answer.
Here it comes, direct from the Harvard handout:

First of all, let's discuss the elephant in the room: these dragons seemed perfectly accommodating, so why would anyone willfully destroy their carefully-balanced society? Is the 'you' in this scenario a total jerk? That's a pretty messed up play, is all we're saying.
With that out in the open, we can continue. However, before you pull out the pen and pad to work it out, heed this one piece of advice: the answer is not “nothing happens.”
Come back tomorrow for the answer. Feel free to share your working in the comments below!
UPDATE: The answer has arrived. Check it out.
