Sorry, Creed The Band: Future Has Updated The "Rocky" Theme For "Creed" The Movie

What a time, etc.

In case you didn't know - and if so, how dare you? - there's a seventh Rocky movie on the horizon called Creed, which is actually great news, because the Rocky movies are the best. (Okay, I won't defend Rocky V, but five outta six ain't bad! Meatloaf would be psyched with that outcome!)

This instalment sees an aged Sylvester Stallone return as Rocky, but the center of attention is really Michael B. Jordan, playing Adonis Creed, son of Rocky's old frenemy, Apollo.

In Creed, aspiring boxer Adonis turns to Rocky for training assistance. (Sold.)

If this wasn't all terribly exciting enough, Jordan's Fruitvale Station helmer Ryan Coogler is taking over directorial duties. (Double sold.)

And though it would have been more synergistic if Creed themselves had provided the movie's signature anthem, Coogler instead recruited Future to update the legendary Rocky theme by Bill Conti. (Seriously, when you've made the sale, stop selling.)

Because sometimes the world is a beautiful place, you can now listen to Future's "Last Breath", produced by Metro Boomin and composer Ludwig Goransson.
