Funny Guy Aaron Chen Made a Lot of Soccer Fans Mad, Then Semi-Apologised For It

Sydney comedian Aaron Chen managed to anger a league of football fans with his awkward interview antics during the half-time show.

The ABC's coverage was slammed generally by fans and the Football Federation Australia for being disrespectful and of a low standard, but for many, Chen's performance was the highlight (or lowlight).

He then later "apologised" for it on Twitter in classic Chen style.

He later went on radio to explain that he's actually a big soccer fan, blaming the stadium for being really loud.

"I was there in 2008 when Australia qualified for the 2009 World Cup against Uzbekistan,” he admitted.
