I scream, you scream, we all scream for free ice cream 🍦

If you are absolutely in need of a sweet treat at this point of the study year, you’re in luck.

Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day is happening tomorrow, 8 April from 12pm to 8pm. Which means you can get free ice-cream 🤤

So if we were you, we’d run not walk to your closest Ben & Jerry’s.

What is Free Cone Day?

Free Cone Day is actually an international celebration around the world. Ben & Jerry’s celebrate by giving out a free ice-cream cone worldwide.

For us here in Australia, you can find your closest Ben & Jerry’s store and head in for free ice-cream.

The first ever Free Cone Day was in 1979 in Vermont. Bit far from Australia! Eventually though this holiday made its way here.

And at the Free Cone Day in Perth, WA in 2012 there was a small scandal because two people were caught trying to cut the line. But DW, they resolved their issues pretty quick and apologised to everyone by high-fiving everyone…on their walk to the back of the line.

In 2015 there were over 1 million scoops of Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream given out around the world. Talk about a sweet treat craving.

Maybe in 2025 we’ll crack a new record? 🤩 Find your closest Ben & Jerry’s store and get your free ice-cream from 12pm to 8pm.
