Move Over Cat Island; Japan Has An Even Better All-Fox Village

If you are terrified by the prospect of an island overrun with cats, maybe this is better?

Japan, you've outdone yourself.

Last month we discussed the almost all-cat island of Aoshima, in which the feline population outnumbers humans six to one.

Turns out Japan was keeping a number of animal-only islands, cities and societies under their hat, including the Zao Fox Village in the Miyagi Prefecture.

Opened in 1990, Zao Fox Village is home to a seemingly infinite number of silver foxes, platinum foxes and Japanese red foxes.

Visitors are allowed to wander around the village and feed the adorable foxes as they please.

Tonight, we will visit Zao Fox Village in our dreams. In the meantime, enjoy these cute pics.
