Former Doctor, Ken Jeong, Saved a Woman Having a Seizure at His Comedy Show

Laughter is both the best medicine and a major health risk, at least in the case of Ken Jeong’s comedy.

During a stand-up set on Saturday night, trained physician and Community star Ken Jeong rushed into the audience to attend to a woman who required medical assistance. (You may also remember him, naked, from The Hangover, or his own aptly-titled sitcom, Dr. Ken, in which he was regularly clothed.)

According to USA Today, a woman in the third row at the Stand Up Live Comedy Club in Phoenix began having a seizure during his set.

Initially, Jeong thought the woman was heckling him, but after realising the gravity of the situation, he reportedly jumped off stage and assisted the woman, alongside an EMT.

We’re going to assume his bedside manner has improved since he filmed Knocked Up.

When the woman was taken away by the ambulance, Jeong returned to the stage and finished the show.

Guy’s a pro.
