Elon Musk Starts Selling Flamethrowers, Completes Transition Into Hank Scorpio

In fact, he didn’t even give you his coat!

Billionaire inventor Elon Musk fooled some people into thinking he had the world’s best interests at heart when he started offering to build giant batteries in South Australia in under 100 days (or do it for free).

But his true desires are betrayed by his Instagram account.

Say hello to my little friend …

In very concerning news, his not-at-all-aptly named business, The Boring Company, has begun selling flamethrowers for $US500 a pop.

Sure, The Boring Company is literally a tunnel-boring company, and those flamethrowers are actually very necessary torches for the act of digging tunnels that just happened to be shaped like Bond-villain weaponry. Still… do he and his colleagues have to look like they're having so much fun firing them up?

Great for roasting nuts 🔥 🥜

Needless to say, this has all brought a certain Simpsons supervillain to mind.

Why couldn’t he invent something nice and not dangerous for once?

Fire extinguishers can also be purchased for $US30, though the company’s own website calls them “overpriced”.

“You can definitely buy one for less elsewhere, but this one comes with a cool sticker,” they joke.

Ha, yeah, funny.
