The Election Has Been Called For Donald Trump, So Here Is Nine Hours Of Kittens Purring

ABC analyst Antony Green has called the U.S. election for Republican candidate Donald Trump.

No, seriously.

The Associated Press has followed suit, along with FiveThirtyEight and The Washington Post.

Hillary Clinton has reportedly conceded in a telephone call to Trump, though her campaign chairman John Podesta told supporters at her New York HQ that she would not be delivering a speech tonight.

Trump took to the stage soon after the outlets officially called the election in his favour.

Pauline Hanson and One Nation has welcomed the result.

So too did a former Prime Minister you may recall...

The surprise outcome has left many shell-shocked and distraught, with some wondering how they’ll explain Trump’s ascendancy to their children.

To those feeling despondent, we have the solution: nine hours of kittens purring.

This is hardly the time for citizens of the world to bury their heads in the sand. The crashing of global markets has already demonstrated the far-reaching effects of Trump’s victory. And certainly, those fearing for the well-being of minorities, those in the LGBTQI community and immigrants in America should not suddenly allay their concerns.

But, right now, you should watch nine hours of kittens purring.

Calming, calming, kittens purring.

That’s all we’ve got for today.
