DMA'S Will Play Six Intimate Gigs at Sydney's Factory Theatre

Been missing live music?

The coronavirus pandemic has significantly disrupted life as we know it. While some states and territories are continuing to ease restrictions, others like Victoria are still experiencing spikes in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.

With social distancing becoming a normal part of our daily lives, one thing we've definitely been missing during the pandemic is live music.

However, it looks like that's finally back on the cards in Sydney.

Earlier today, the DMA'S announced they'll be playing six very intimate gigs at Sydney's Factory Theatre to celebrate the release of their third album, THE GLOW.

The stripped-back gigs will take place across three nights, with the band performing two 18+ shows per night at 6.30pm and 9.00pm. This will ensure the Factory Theatre is operating at a reduced capacity to fit coronavirus restrictions.

To make sure the venue is adhering to health standards, they'll have a changeover period so that everything can be fully cleaned before the next set begins.

If you've been impatiently waiting to go to your first live gig in ages, you won't even have to wait much longer. DMA'S will be performing on Thursday 30 July, Friday 31 July and Saturday 1 August.

These are the first shows the Factory Theatre has held since it shut down back in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, and it also marks the band's first gig since lockdown took place.

An exclusive artist pre-sale will be starting from midday AEST this Wednesday 8 July, and a Frontier Member's pre-sale will begin from 2.00pm AEST that same day. Profits from the artist pre-sale will be going towards supporting the Aboriginal Legal Service (ALS).

All general public tickets will go on sale from 12.00pm AEST on Friday 10 July through Ticketek.

It's highly likely these tickets will be snapped up in an instant, so make sure you're online and ready to buy them.
