Dakota Johnson Roasted Ellen For Skipping Her Party and the Internet Is Stanning

It’s an absolute mood.
Cast your mind back to the last time you had an embarrassingly awkward interaction. Now, think about that being aired on one of the biggest talk shows on the planet for the entire world to see.
Yeah, you’d rather not think about it.
Yet, this is exactly what happened to Dakota Johnson and Ellen DeGeneres during Dakota’s latest interview on Ellen.

The tension arose after Ellen claimed Dakota never extended an invitation to her 30th birthday party. However, Dakota abruptly shut that down, saying she definitely did invite her.
"Ellen, you were invited. Last time I was on the show last year, you gave me a bunch of s*** about not inviting you, but I didn’t even know you wanted to be invited," the 50 Shades of Grey actress said.
"Well, who doesn’t want to be invited to a party?" Ellen responded.
The interview only became more uncomfortable, as Dakota admitted she didn’t even know whether the talk show host liked her.
"You knew I liked you. You’ve been on the show many times, and don’t I show… like?" Ellen asked.
Check out the cringe-worthy exchange for yourself.

Dakota proceeded to tell Ellen to ask her producers about the invite, who noted that the host was out of town that weekend.
"Oh yeah, I had that thing," Ellen said.
"It was probably in Malibu, that’s too far for me to go to."
Where was Ellen that weekend?
Internet investigators soon discovered that Dakota’s 30th birthday party was held on the evening of Saturday 5 October.

As it turns out, that was the same weekend that Ellen controversially attended an NFL game in Texas with former US president George W. Bush, so it's likely that this was the "thing" the host was referring to.
Of course, the internet is stanning Dakota for speaking her mind.

I went to elementary school with Dakota Johnson and even though I was in 6th grade and she was in 4th, I would get the nervous sweats around her. So yeah, she not afraid of Ellen and her Keds.

Dakota Johnson if you’re reading this I appreciate the chaos in which you thrive and I’m free to hang out most nights and weekends

Although, this isn't the first time that the actress has called out an interview host before. She also shut down Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show for not letting her speak.
But remember when Dakota johnson called out Jimmy fallon? 😂 iconic pic.twitter.com/7dBIH6HwFF

One thing is for certain: if you are blessed enough to receive an invite to Dakota’s next party, please attend.
