"Cuphead", the Game That Drives You Cuckoo, Is Gonna Be a Netflix Series

Yes, Mugman will be in it too.

If you loved the animation of the video game Cuphead but were driven so mad by its frustrating difficulty that you now shake nervously whenever someone asks if you play, we have good news.

Netflix is turning the game into a series, which you can watch and won’t need to play. Sweet relief!

Coming to you in full color and cine-sound, it's... #TheCupheadShow! Witness the wondrous Inkwell Isles as you've never seen them before in a series inspired by classic animation styles of the 1930s.

The Cuphead Show ("also starring Mugman") will employ the same classic animation style as the game, with co-creator Chad Moldenhauer telling the Hollywood Reporter, "We're keen to stay as far away from computer-assisted puppeteer animation as possible."

However, no other details are being revealed as yet. That includes release date, the style of music that’ll feature, or even if the main characters will have voices.

So, you’ll have to make do with the game for a few more months (years?), concerning the heroes Cuphead and Mugman trying to escape their pact with the devil.
