Chet Faker Drops The Fake Name; Now Goes By Nick Murphy

It’s not quite Prince changing his name to a symbol, but it’s something.
Chet Faker – he of the bearded slow jams – has announced on Facebook he will no longer answer to the name that made him famous.
Instead, he wants us to refer to him by his given name: Nick Murphy.
It’s not quite as sultry, but we shall respect Chet’s Nick’s wishes.
What this means for the future of his music, we’re not sure. And what this means for your perfectly-organised iTunes library, we really don’t know.
We look forward to, erm, Nick’s next (first?) single.
Here's an oldie but a goodie.
