I always love Asian cuisine but this new restaurant I have discovered in Perth has set a higher standard for Malaysian food.
PappaRich is located in a few locations around Perth (not to mention Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra), but I visited it in Westfield Carousel. It has a nice ambience and great customer service. The customers could see the entire kitchen, which is really clean, and the staff are very accommodating.
To top it all, their food is amazingly delicious and surprisingly affordable. They have varieties of noodles and desserts to choose from as well which would suit a tight budget.
I ordered one of their best sellers: Biryani rice with chicken in red curry and prawns with cucumber. The meal cost $14.90 (and that includes a free milk tea with coffee jelly).

Before visiting, I had always noticed long lines of customers outside the restaurant waiting for an available table. So, I would suggest that the best time to visit the place is after lunch or an hour before the usual dinner time to avoid waiting for 30 minutes to an hour.
I would definitely go back to PappaRich – here, or elsewhere - and try their other presumably fantastic dishes.
