I walked into Degani and it seemed very intriguing and interesting.

I looked at the menu and there was a great variety of things to choose from.

The waiters were pretty occupied with the other responsibilities, so unfortunately we didn’t get very good service. My family and I dined there with a voucher, which at least meant we were given our entrée for free.

For the entrée we had an antipasto platter: feta, olives, spicy sausage, eggplant dip, hummus dip and tzatziki dip with pita bread.

For main, I ordered the chicken parmigiana with salad and chips.

Lastly, I had a slice of cake from the dessert cabinet: cookies and cream.

The antipasto platter was savoury, tasty and delicious. The chicken parmigiana was crunchy, flavoursome and yummy. The cookies and cream cake was sweet, rich and indulgent. These dishes were found on the entrée menu, dinner menu and the display cabinet of desserts.

The positives for this restaurant is that the atmosphere was relaxing and calm as we were eating our meal. The food was also quick coming to the table.

The cons for the restaurant are that the service isn’t the best, as they were a bit busy, and my chicken parmigiana was a bit tough.

Overall, I had a pretty good time; the food was pretty good and I would go back again.
