Chance The Rapper Continues His 2016 Domination With Super New "Angels" Music Video

2016’s going to be a big one for Chance the Rapper.

Not only did he begin the year with a guest spot on Snakehips’ hit “All My Friends”, but he even managed a song-stealing appearance on Kanye’s Life of Pablo opener “Ultralight Beam”.

(Chance apparently holds so much sway over West, he was able to delay the release of Pablo by urging Ye to mix one extra song before its release.)

With his latest mixtape coming very, very soon, he’s finally blessed us with a video for his joyful 2015 tune “Angels” featuring Saba.

In it, he capitalizes on the superhero glut of the moment by showing off his flying skills (and, um, cartoon bug eyes) around the streets of his Chicago home. Bonus: classic Chance dance moves.

As he noted on “Ultralight Beam”, you need to charge people for your records if you want to be considered for the Grammys, so don’t expect his next album to be a freebie like all his others. (Last year, we called his collaborative project Surf the 10th best album of 2015, and its lead single, “Sunday Candy”, 2015’s best song.)

At this point, he’s earned our money.
