Caitlyn Jenner Might Be Charged With "Misdemeanor Manslaughter" For Road Death

Caitlyn Jenner’s been blazing trails all year long as a spokesperson for transgender individuals.

However, her unfortunate involvement in a fatal road accident earlier in the year could halt her ascent as an inspirational figure.

On February 7, Jenner was reportedly driving down the Pacific Coast Highway in Los Angeles at an unsafe speed when her Escalade rear-ended Kim Howe’s Lexus, pushing it onto an oncoming Hummer. Howe did not survive.

According to Variety, detectives investigating the crash that left driver Kim Howe dead are now set to present their evidence to the prosecution.

It could result in a misdemeanor manslaughter charge against Jenner; a charge that usually carries a one-year county jail sentence.

Jenner is already facing lawsuits from both Howe’s family and that of Jessica Steindorff, the driver of a Toyota Prius who also became tangled in the pile-up.

It’s unknown whether or not any charges will affect future seasons of I Am Cait.

More news as it develops.
