Brody Tells Us How He Got a Freight Job Straight After Study

Brody tells us why he's like a travel agent for the freight industry.
This post is presented in partnership with My Freight Career.
University isn't for everyone. That's what Brody soon found out after enrolling in a course for music to pursue his dreams of becoming a musician.
Thankfully, he soon after found an ad for My Freight Career, an organisation that places young people in the freight and shipping industry.
After completing a traineeship in 18 months, Brody landed a full-time role at GEODIS; a major freight and logistics company.
He tells Student Edge how he's the person who gets the freight from ships and makes sure it heads where it needs to go, keeping Australia's deliveries moving.
"[I'm] the middleman between the shipping lines and the client," Brody says.
"That's pretty much our main job; kind of like a travel agent for freight instead of people."
See what else Brody gets up to on a daily basis below.
