Brace Yourselves: Here’s When Your State’s Year 12 Results Are Released

We've got everything you need to know.
So, after many long years of gruelling lessons, assignments and exams, you’ve finally finished school. Congratulations!
You’ve probably had a solid time partying it up at Schoolies (or Leavers), and now you’ve turned your focus towards what you are going to do next year. Alternatively, you could just be living in the moment (which you totally deserve, btw).

Except, there’s just one tiny thing looming over your head: your Year 12 results.
It is completely normal to be anxious about receiving that dreaded number. After all, you powered through many all-nighters and cramming sessions to ace those exams. Although, it’s important to remember that your results do not define you. You are a precious human being with a lot to offer the world. Besides, only 26 per cent of students actually enter uni using their ATAR, and there are always alternative pathways towards your dream career.
With all those overwhelming feelings, you might have forgotten to set a reminder to check your scores when they are released.

But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here are the dates Year 12 results should be made live.
VCE results and ATAR scores.
For students in Victoria, your VCE results and ATAR advice will be available from 7.00am, Thursday 12 December 2019, which makes you the first in Australia to get your score.
However, if you’re receiving an IB Notional ATAR, you’ll have to wait until January 2019.
You can check out your VCE and ATAR through the results service and mobile app.
Queensland Year 12 results and OPs.
Queensland students will get their scores shortly after those in Victoria, with the release date scheduled to be 14 December 2019. The time hasn’t been specified, so make sure you’re regularly refreshing the Student Connect website for updates.
HSC/IB & ATAR test and results.
You’re up, New South Wales. It looks like your results are landing at 6.00am on Tuesday 17 December 2019, and you’ll be able to view those by logging into your Students Online account.
Don’t freak out if you receive some early morning mobile notifications, because your HSC results will also be delivered by text message and email.
ACT Year 12 results and ATARs.
Mark your calendars for 1pm on Tuesday 17 December 2019, ACT students. Your results are coming on the same day as NSW, except you’ll need to view yours through UAC and the My UAC app.
TCE results.
Tasmanian students, you’ll also have to keep twiddling your thumbs until Tuesday 17 December 2019, when your results will be emailed to you. It’ll be tough to pull yourself away from your inbox, but we believe in you.
WACE results.
Sorry WA students, you’ll have to hang tight until Thursday 19 December 2019 for your scores. On that date, hop onto the WACE portal where you’ll have to enter your student number and password (so make sure you have those details handy).
SACE/NTCET results.
Save the date South Australian students, you’ll also be able to see that final number on Thursday 19 December 2019. Additionally, you'll get your SATAC Tertiary Entrance Statement, if you’re eligible. All you have to do is sign onto Students Online, so keep your SACE registration number and PIN somewhere in sight.
While these are the official dates for release, sometimes Year 12 results can come earlier, so keep your eyes peeled for any updates.
