Begin Your Weekend Right With Kanye’s "Realness" From Ellen’s Best Ever Interview

Kanye makes everything better. Music. Twitter. And now, daytime TV.
The man behind The Life of Pablo went on Ellen yesterday – for reasons that still elude us, because surely he’s over old media-style promotion – to enlighten her not-at-all-prepared audience members.
Case in point: when asked about his social media strategy, he offered, “what’s the point of thinking?”
You may see some publications on the internet declare this as yet another “rant”, but within his undeniably-energetic, sometimes-baffling delivery, you’ll find pertinent comments on race, art, class inequality and the very value of our existence.
“I have ideas that can make the human race’s existence within our hundred years better,” he said.
“Don’t tell me about being likable. We got 100 years here. We’re one race. The human race. One civilisation. We’re a blip in the existence of the universe and we’re constantly trying to pull each other down, not trying to help each other.”
That all of this was directed at individual audience members – rather than Ellen - with the intensity of 1000 burning suns surely made viewers uncomfortable. But sometimes, the truth hurts.
“I’m sorry daytime television. I’m sorry for the realness.”
Watch it all and make your life better.
Then they played this. It too included some realness.
