Back To School With Lyn Beazley

In our new webseries, we go "Back to School" with Australia's most interesting people.

Meet the politician with a design degree (and a penchant for rapping).

Meet the comedian who once dreamed of being the next Robert De Niro.

Meet the scientist who threw shade at David Attenborough.

In Student Edge’s new webseries, we interview some fascinating Aussies about their school days, to find out how they landed their dream careers and the obstacles they faced along the way.

For our third episode, we caught up with 2015's WA Australian of the Year and former Chief Scientist Lyn Beazley.

Check out our chat to learn all about her time at the chillingly-named "Gravesend Girls Grammar", the birth of her love for science, and what it's like to have a sponge named after you.
