Aussie Liz Cambage Slams a New Record in Women's NBA League

Liz "Slambage" Cambage is taking over the game in the United States.

Australian basketballer Liz Cambage has smashed an impressive Women's NBA (WNBA) record during a match between her team, the Dallas Wings, and New York Liberty.

The record in question? Oh, just, you know, the most points ever scored in a game in the WNBA's history.

Cambage, a.k.a. Slambage, netted an impressive 53 points with four three-pointers in the win over Liberty, 104 - 87. She literally scored more than half of her whole team's points for the game.

To keep this in perspective, the last NBA player to achieve the 50-point mark (in conjunction with 10 rebounds and 75 per cent shot accuracy) was Michael Jordan. That was in 1996.

It's an impressive feat and everyone paid respect to the MVP.

Keep on slamming them, Slambage.
