14 Anti-Bullying Bangers And Anti-Hater Anthems To Play This National Day Of Action Against Bullying And Violence

Today marks Australia’s sixth National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence, which encourages students from across the country to “take a stand together” against bullying and, you guessed it, violence.

Besides the symbolic – and still very powerful – stance you can take against bullying and violence today (as well as every other day), the Bullying No Way website also offers actual materials and lesson plans for schools wanting to get involved in a more practical way. (If your school isn’t participating, you can still totally read through the website and self-enlighten.)

It’s a great cause, and every great cause needs a great soundtrack. So, here are fourteen anti-hater anthems to score your day. Each one is empowering, inspiring and catchy as hell. Most importantly, all fourteen were made to be played loud. (Yes, even the one by Cat Power. Why else would she have Iggy Pop on it?) Turn them up - and take a stand.
