Clear That Calendar: Angry Birds 2 Is Coming On July 30

In news that has delighted phone-toting procrastinators everywhere, Finnish developer Rovio has announced a sequel to Angry Birds.

This is, of course, despite Rovio having already produced 12 official Angry Birds games and three spin-offs.

Still, Angry Birds 2 is apparently going to be the first true sequel to the original app sensation.

Why there needs to be a “true” sequel or what plot there even is for Angry Birds 2 to carry on, I have no idea.

Nonetheless, players worldwide will be able to download it from July 30.

August is not going to be a very productive month.
