An Actual "Hunger Games" Theme Park Has Opened and We Volunteer As Tribute

It's not exactly the first movie that springs to mind when people suggest a movie-themed park.

A new Hunger Games-themed park has opened in Dubai and it looks like a ball of murderous fun. The park features a virtual reality tour of the Districts on the Panam Aerial Tours ride and a dizzying rollercoaster that travels upside-down for some time (nope) called the Capitol Bullet Train.

Obviously, as any good movie-themed park is, there are roving characters such as the peacekeepers as well as cute lil' shops to appease the fandom like Peeta's Bakery.

The park was built by Motiongate, a Dubai company that makes Hollywood-inspired theme parks for tourists to throw their cash at. This isn't the first time that MotionGate has made movie stans dreams come true. They've opened other theme parks for Cars, Toy Story, Shrek, Harry Potter, Avatar, and a Star Wars one is on the way.

Yep, I'm sold. Book me on a flight right now.
