AFLW's Tayla Harris Kicks Down "Animals" Who Trolled Her Athleticism

AFL's Twitter account deleted a photo of Tayla Harris because of trolls. Now, it's trending.
History is full of male athletes captured in dramatic feats of athleticism and in sports like AFL, those single moments of jumps and kicks are often very impressive.
But when it comes to women doing the same action, some trolls seem to be taking offense.
7AFL's Twitter account posted a picture of AFLW player, Tayla Harris (taken by Michael Wilson), after kicking a six-point goal. It was bombarded with misogynistic comments from trolls claiming the photo was offensive.
Due to the onslaught, 7AFL took down the photo. Harris responded the best way someone could.
But it didn't change the fact that 7AFL had given into the trolls and gave them what they wanted most: legitimacy.
7AFL's Twitter account has since apologised for deleting the picture and gone on to re-upload it.
The incident has gotten the attention of a lot of people with hashtags like #GoTaylaGo and #KickLikeaGirl trending on Twitter.
This is a brilliant athlete in full flight. Something to celebrate. Just over three years ago women did not play Australian Football at the elite level. The result of this leap - a goal from 40m out. @aflwomens @taylaharriss #taylaharris https://t.co/HJsxAYsROD
