"Adventure Time" Is Ending With a War, and Here’s a Trailer to Prove It

If you’ve been in denial about the end of Adventure Time, prepare to be dragged back to reality (or, at least, the heightened reality of Ooo, anyway).

Cartoon Network has unveiled the trailer for Adventure Time’s final ever season.

The iconic, eight-year-old series will wrap-up with a four-part finale, collectively titled "Come Along With Me".

In its teaser, a mighty war is threatened, and a haunting, a cappella rendition of the closing credits theme is shared.

Basically, you will cry.

There’s still no premiere date for the final episodes, with the trailer only saying they’re "coming soon".

Start preparing yourself emotionally now.

Play this over your tears:
